Hey Folks,

im going through some Lists for an Tournament and cant really decide which one to use or if they are really that good as i think.
So please give me a few suggestions or just say that some(or all) of them are total crap

The Idea behind this list is that i think im not facing that many Impact (or Ion ) weapons so my AT-ST will survive long enough to trouble the enemy.
Generally i would try to get the objective and let my opponent deal with the AT-ST. The problem with this list may be that i have to deal with royal guards.

Just an plain old Palp/Royal Guard list. May have some trouble with armor if i screw up.

Good alround List, may have some trouble in melee but boba should negate this.

So that are my three lists, personally i favor AT-ST-List because of the armor and heavy punch.

All look like their good, but here are my suggestions:

1. For the first list, as weird as it may sound, the most efficient ATST is the Weiss with all the bells and whistles. I have found HQ Uplink is money as well. You can still get 10 activations but will generally need a cheap, naked Stormtrooper, which is fine because they are great at grabbing the back objectives. On the other hand, if you don't want to do that, drop the 88, it isn't really needed unless you have alot of Armor in your meta. So in short, either do the Grenade for a 'cheap' ATST, or do everything for an amazing centerpiece.

2. For all of your lists, replace Impact Grenades with Frag, they are so much better for those snows, and you own them since you own 2 Guards.

3. For the Palp list, consider dropping a snow and getting 2 cheap Stormies to help grab objectives and gain activations.

4. For the Bike list, either do Commanding presence OR do the Comm upgrade on the bikes, but both seems like a waste of points to me. In fact, I'd drop all of them, and gain 30 points to play with (almost a Storm squad). That list already has a huge bid (which isn't really needed anymore) so that should easily net you a DLT Stormtrooper squad (or whatever you fancy).

5. If you have the points, Recon Intel is really nice on the Snows as it gives them a free 'move' at the start of the game. That's one move closer to flame-time!

6. While not mandatory, if you find yourself with points to fill, Environmental Gear on one of the Guards could be quite good (the one you plan on charging) as it let's them run over cover to get their charge off. Tenacity is not mandatory either, but if the points allow it, is nice.

Personally, I've tinkered with the three lists you've played, and my personal favorite by far is the ATST one (with Weiss with everything).
