I haven’t generally whined about this, but I have to say... I did kindof expect the FO and Resistance to get a copy of Afterburners somewhere among their stuff. No luck, though?

Its odd they put it in the fang if they’re not gonna share it with the other non-core set factions.

Isn't in the core set though? I rarely see people running one copy, let alone two.

Yeah, I know, but I’m the idiot that wants to fly them on every three-ship list I fly, despite them being extremely situational and not as strong for their cost as other options 😜

Like triple Auzitucks, for example. Tacking a boost onto their three-turn allows them to turn around so much more effectively.

Good point on the Auzies. Haven't tried them out yet, they seem a tad overpriced right now, but maybe I'm underestimating them?

Auzitucks aren't bad, reinforce just isn't what it used to be. If you're flying three, it's better to bring Wullff and Lowh than putting 3x Afterburners on the generics, anyways. Flying four of them, I'd probably bring Leia and a couple shield upgrades (actions on an all-stop round is pretty amazing, and I was able to dodge a Traj-Sim proton bomb by all-stopping with some Wookiees once. It was pretty great.)

I figured they'd have put it in the 'equivalent' expansions - A-wing, Interceptor, silencer, etc, but I hadn't noticed it's not in the RZ-2 A-wing

I guess with Refined Gyrostabilizers/Autothrusters and Primed Thrusters it's kind of unnecessary for the 'new era' stuff, but it's still be nice to have in at least one expansion for each faction.

A-Wings can't equip mods... so maybe they learnt something from the Fang, at least? 😛
