He barely functions in the Resistance era. He needs to be in a nursing home for droids!

He’ll probably come with whatever they release for Ep IX. There’s separate Resistance Han/Chewie/3P0, so it wouldn’t make sense to have the same R2-D2.

The end of Ep VII. He was off with Rey for Ep VIII, but not deactivated. Just didn’t do a whole lot yet.

Maybe he starts with 0 charges (his capacity is 4). Recurring charge. "At the start of the Activation Phase, you may spend 4 charges to reveal All of your opponent's dials."

Thematic abilities are fun, such as Greedo, Han (rebel) gunner, Snoke seeing things afar but hilariously useless up close, Chewie becoming aggressive when friends die/get hurt, Jerjerrod panicking and having people pick up the pace, etc. and of course, the question of whether Porkins can hold it.

They'll have R2-D2 pilot in an X-Wing for episode 9, for 3PO to coordinate to.

Maaaaybe earlier if they decide to release the Resistance Transport, with the FO drop ship or the Xi-Class shuttle evening things up.

Or even a republic r2d2 first. Them Jedi gotta have droids (that they actually use) too! R4p17 confirmed, and I'm hoping she's got synergy with Obi-Wan.

Agreed! I'd like the Resistance to have a shuttle type ship and hopefully with the wording on 3PO's card, we will see the transport sometime soon. FO could do with a cheaper shuttle too, one with only 2 or fewer crew, to get some of their great crew options on the board a bit easier.

3 crew is ok, albeit excessive. 4 red dice is a horrible idea for a support ship with no turnaround. Don't get me wrong, the Upsilon is in a much better position than before, but FO needs a light shuttle with 2 reds. Resistance likewise once their crew options expand, as even a salvaged Falcon fits a brawler role and not that of a well-costed support.

Cost is everything. It's why 4 juke sigmas are good in the right hands, as the phantom's nerfs made it affordable.

He was doing all kinds of stuff in the Millennium Falcon while Chewie was flying and Rey was shooting.

Starts with 0 charges. After you destroy a ship gain a charge. Spend a charge to recover a shield or do one boost or barrel roll action.
