has there ever been, or are there plans to have, a card tower? whats the best way to protect cards this size?

FFG has sleeves that fits the Talisman cards.

I am still hoping that FFG will make a card tower or something like that..

If you are states side, you can go to http://www.maydaygames.com/ They have sleeves that will fit almost any FFG card, are thinner and lighter weight but still tough enough, and are usually less expensive. (They've done some bulk deals now and then... I once ordered 700 Talisman sleeves and with shipping paided just over $10 USD.) I recently discovered they have Runebound sleeves that are closer to the card dimensions that many of the other vendors.

If you're not stateside, well, take a peek anyway and maybe buy in bulk to defray the shipping cost.

I use Arcane Tinmen sleeves myself, Danish company, so shipping could be cheaper if you're a euro. Luckily, I don't have to worry about shipping since my FLGS has them in stock.

By 'card tower' do you perhaps mean a card shoe to put them in while playing?
