Going to try Palpatine

So i thought Palpy was too slow and expensive when they first released him but since I bought and painted him up i figured i would try him out.

I've got a bit of the best of both worlds going here. (Melee vs Ranged)

Palpatine Force reflexes, Anger

Speeder Bike

3 units of DLT stormies

1 unit Snow troopers, extra person, flamer and Frag Nades

2 units of suicide bombers strike teams with recon intel

Royal Guard with extra guy (tenacity if i can find 3 pts)

Goal would be to rush forward with melee and snows and bombers making the enemy shoot with fervor. DLTs pot shot from a distance and grab objectives. The opponent will have to choose. Hopefully, with cover and some dice rolls my bombers will soak the shooting or take the heat off so the royal guard and snow troopers can get into range and kill the important units allowing Palpatine to saunter up and force lightning the other units

After 3 games worth of testing with Palpatine this week end...

I can assure you that we need to have 2 max royal guards for him : One to rush forward with Pulling the String, one to protect the Man himself. One of my squad got Emergency Stim pack, the other get tenacity. I faced Vader one of the game, 3 attacks (2 turns) of a max imperial guards unit, and big V was dead. And I completely eat up his son on the last game I played.

Speeder bike seems unefficient in the list. They are strong by 2 squads, 1 is merely a fun for most lists.

If you rush, you lack a solution of "loads of impact" to face those flamers AT-RT. They will play the same game as you do, but they will do it better (it's often a full squad destroy each time a flamer split its deadly cargo). I'd switch frag grenades for impact ones.
