ADHD - What is it and how you can you be informed
Thanks for the link and explanation. I tried to import decks into ADHD on the Discord server, but it didn't work. I'm yet to play a proper game, but I've been testing my decks against each other. So, out of the 6 decks I have, 3 have a positive consistency.I had a feeling one deck was the best, and sure enough, according to ADHD, it is. At least when I come to play next week, I'll know which decks to take!
Is one of the questions “Who names a gaming tool after a learning disability?”. I’d be interested in reading an answer to that one.
He named it that intentionally as a way to point out the what some call a learning disability he sees personally as a tool he can leverage to better himself and society. He was pretty vocal about it on a Facebook group and obviously feels his ADHD, condition not the tool, is not a disability.
I still don’t really see the connection, but okay. It certainly is a disability, insofar as it requires intervention / modification at the pedagogical level. Guess I’d have to read the Facebook post.

Is the need to win that important to you?

It seems like a cute toy to me, but its utility ends there. Like many (or most) modern games, KeyForge is just too dynamic to quantify in any practical way.

Winning makes games fun for me. While i'm not a sore loser winning feel much better then losing so why wouldnt i try and win every game i play? Seems like a waste of time to not try and win.

"When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning."
Seeing statistics that might help you understand how to use a deck more efficiently doesn't seem like a bad thing to me in any way. This tool alone will not make you win, though. There are also other analysis tools, like the one Burger Tokens has, and the card ratings that ToyWiz has (eventually we'll be able to import decks there to get ratings as well).
All of these tools can help to inform ourselves about the decks. Some people like to analyze their stuff on their own, and that's totally fine. Some like having external tools to help, and that's fine as well.
Player skill still should matter more than these numbers, but knowing the numbers can inform player skill.
