Shield tokens!

By Andyjp, in X-Wing Mission Control Technical Support and Feedback Forum

Just got a Resistance conversation kit,

4 shield tokens, not enough to fly more than one ship out of the kit!

I did get 6 evade tokens.....tho not a single ship can evade!!!

I did get 6 double turret arc indicators.....bet I cannot ever use 6 at the same time.

please go take a long hard look at yourself In a mirror FFG!

Seriously....why couldn't they have added just a few extra shield tokens??? How is 4 shields going to hardly cover a squad at all? Get it right next time FFG!

You have lots of old shield tokens? Use them up first.

After you buy a couple of the new models, you'll have more than you know what to do with, as you will have for 1.0.

Yes, FFG short-changed us in the conversion kits, but anyone buying them will have lots of spares from before.

I purchased a conversion kit, the small print said nothing about having to red sharpie old tokens.

My point is this convetsion kit like the others dose not deliver what was advertised.

Honestly people? WOULD YOU LIKE SOME CHEESE WITH YOUR WINE?

I literally have more tokens than .... well, than Carter has liver pills. If you have any ships , you will have plenty. You dont have to have the new blue side/red side tokens. The old ones work perfectly well using them as you did before taking them away or adding them. If you really HAVE to have a red side to flip over to, magic marker it. I would be far more worried about charge, force tokens as those are not ones you already have a plethora of, or possibly more of the turret arc tokens as those are also something you dont already have a lot of. i have literally given 2 handfull of shield tokens away to nephews and a buddy to fill them out plus spares and have a few handfulls left for myself. The new ones, I just mixed into the bunch.

Give it a few months and you'll have more than you could ever use.

Well the Scum and villainy, Empire and Rebel conversion kits didn't have any... so be thankful for those 4.
