I know that ProTorps are the hotness right now but I'm looking forward to the Republic ships coming out next year, specifically the V-19 Torrents, which have missile slots. With that in mind I've decided to focus on actually flying (instead of scummy tricks) and practicing on acquiring locks and using ordinance. With that in mind I have two versions of a "4K" list and I'm curious which looks more effective.
I went with 2x Kihraxz and 2x Kimogila for the missile slots and the base sizes. I also went with all I3 pilots so that I didn't have to worry too much about activation order. The first list is straight-forward fly->lock->shoot. The second has some Talents mixed in so the ordinance becomes less of a focus on the Kihraxzes.
List 1: Kimo's with R3 & Cluster missiles, Kihraxz with Concussion missiles
