G7-X Grav Well vs Raddus...that's a thing, right?

By xanderf, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

I know usually the grav well token seems to be removed in games after the initial placement, but...it shouldn't be, right? Specifically - if Raddus tries to pop up on the table, if he's in range of the token, he still gets speed-0, as he is "deploying" in range of the grav well token, correct?

Similarly if Profundity farts out a corvette - same thing? If in range of the token, speed-0?

I believe you are correct. In most games there's no reason to keep it on the table unless Raddus or Profundity are involved. Hyperspace Assault and maybe the Corellian Conflict all-out offensive are two other cases where the effect of the token could come into play.

Correct.

It's one of the reasons this upgrade is seeing a bit more play.

Correct.

At no time are you instructed to remove the Grav Shift Token.

Any situation which counts as, and uses the term “Deploy” is a trigger for grav shift in range
