You have to download the new point lists for Rebels, Empire, and Scum.

On the Generic Upgrades PDF. The Hyperspace Legal column indicates which ones are and are not legal.

I did a list of what is not legal generic wise for Hyper Space format on the first page of this thread, but for ease of searching:

Generic upgrade breakdown of what is not allowed in Hyperspace Format.

Secondary weapons (Missiles, Torpedoes, and Cannons) not permitted in Hyperspace: Dorsal Turret, Adv. Proton Torpedoes, Barrage Rockets, Ion Cannon, Jamming Beam and Tractor Beam.

Crew not permitted: Gonk, Freelance Slicer and Novice Tech.

Devices not permitted: Bomblet Generator

Illicits not permitted: Cloaking Device, Contraband Cybernetics, Feedback Array

Modifications not permitted: Ablative Plating, Advanced SLAM, Electronic Baffle, Tactical Scrambler

Talents not permitted: Debris Gambit, Saturation Salvo

If it ain't listed above it is legal in for the Hyperspace Format as far as generics go.

Hopefully they'll all drop 3 points or so soon. Stele looks okay at one point less than Thane.

Considering that the X1 is the only ship that can carry missles, (which at least 3 out 4/5 ships of the other faction can carry Torps/Missles,) it seems Empire has got find a way to get an X1 on the table to help out against all the other factions Large base ships. Which we don't even have one of...

Quite honestly, imps don’t look very convincing in this format. They honestly should have got the bomber instead of the striker as a bonus.

Scum looks extremely scary, as especially Boba does not lose that much apart from Gambit.

Rebels sure look more solid than im Extended, as they focus on X-Wings anyway most of the time. They also get Norra on the Y-Wing, which is really not bad with a torp.

So at least hyperspace might have that going for it, instead of just boringness.

Considering that missiles only get 3 dice max, i’d assume Empire doesn’t play ordnance at all, since the benefit is pretty small. Barrage Rockets are a no-no too, and they would have been the only powerful option.

I mean with the X1, only the homing missile makes the slightest sense to use, and perhaps Orockets. Why would you ever use another? They all require TL, and the native ability is primary only.

Firing primary with TL (required for missile anyhow) and FCS gives you a 3 dice shot with a free reroll and a hit to a crit. I would be hard pressed to think of a situation where literally any other missile would be better than that.

You could literally remove the slot and nobody would care currently.

Elusive + Focus on Marek? He'll need his locks coordinated to him from a Reaper then, and for sure he will have FCS stapled.

2.0 isnt gonna happen this edition. they botched waaay too much to errata away all the problems

That's certainly an emerging possibility. I see a lot of the same mistakes being repeated.

Let's see what the January points/slots changes bring.

my hyperspace scum list of choice:

2x Bounty Hunter + Fenn Rau = 200pts

Bounty Hunters are legit in Hyperspace. The big question everyone in Hyperspace has to answer is 'what do you do about TIE swarms'. If you've got a good answer to that (and BH with Reinforce have a pretty reasonable answer to it) then you're in good shape.

I personally dropped Fenn Rau down for some toys on the BH - the TIEs won't like the odd bomb or Deadman's Switch!
