Actually I was really trying to make a support bomber work. But then I found that TS+Protons was just as cheap as VTG even without other crew and... Sorry, didn't mean to run off-track. The bomber is just so good at bombing though. Once TS and Protons get a little more expensive and generic crew options get cheaper I think more variety will be more viable.

I mean, if you want a turret platform then you probably want that other large ship whichll probably do any build we come up with better

Other than the whole bomb and support thing

Only really seeing Vennie as a sorta gun platform, but only because they're sorta durable. It's funny to combo them with gunner Rey and han crew...but then I might as well get real Rey

Four focused attacks per turn, plus bombs flying everywhere, and the bombers don't even have to worry about running over them! Still seems very weak against TIE/fo swarms... thematically...

Can't double tap out the front with VTG in the Falcon. Other than that... unless it abuses double-gunner somehow, yeah, Falcon may be the better chassis.

Also, Targeting Sync on I1's? Doesn't seem the best use.

They might be thinking that it results in double modded shots by allowing the ships that move after it to just Focus and use the lock of the I1 Locker. It doesn't anymore, just allows for other ships within a certain range to ignore the lock requirement to fire missiles and torps at the target that the syncer has locked. :)

Only guy I can see the double tap being even remotely worthwhile on is cat, but you'd have to fanangle the ability...which is currently horrible with what devices we have available (basically just undetonated mines, ie things you WANT detonated)

Double tap isn't really that great, otherwise. A generic t70 and A runs you 78 points and will do a lot more than a 72 point vtg cat
