Added a tracker for Brunson to both this season and last season's data. My hunch is that the resurgence of Demolisher we've seen so far might be tied to the community at large figuring out that Brunson is, ya know, good.

Added a tracker for Toryn as well since I hear a lot of complaints about her. Spoiler: Brunson>Toryn by a mile so far.

I agree. Better to track as % of rebel/imperial lists. And would be nice to have both Toryn and Brunson. I'm sure Brunson appears more often

I'm surprised that Bail isn't more prevalent. I don't play Rebels much but he seems like a solid upgrade.

Sorry, I'm not changing it. I prefer to see it as a percentage of the overall population. I also don't like the idea of going back and forth based what I'm using as the base number because of faction specific upgrades. It's easy enough to extrapolate from what's there.

He is restricted to high activation fleets mostly. Pryce seems to have more flexibility.

Not sure that's a big surprise. I mean, Toryn is great and all, but the Rebels have a lot of great officers. The Empire...doesn't. We've got a handful of situationally-useful ones, but Brunson is definitely one of the few 'improves basically any ship she's added to, regardless of the rest of the build' upgrades we have.

Oh, yeah, I agree - guess I forgot to add that thought to the post. The SSD will definitely shake the dominance of Brunson, as it finally adds a number of very good officer options for the Empire.

First of all, there are 10 Rebel Officers vs 14 Officers (which will increase to 20 with SSD)

Yes, Adar Tallon, Lando and Toryn are super useful.

Raymus is good but Grint and Yularen are better. Aresko does a similar job too for the same price. So 3 options for token generation rather than 1.

Draven is nowhere near as good as Kallus.

Derlin is not as good as Montferrat.

Bail is not as good as Pryce.

Ahsoka and Leia are handy but nothing special.

Yeah the Imperials have naff cards like Titus, Goran, Inquisitor and Isard but there's also Chiraneau and Needa who have useful abilities and Tua is awesome.

And then of course there's Brunson.

I don't know how an Imperial player can complain really.

You may also be interested to know that the main London regional is taking place on Saturday at Dark Sphere, Shepherd's Bush. 64 players signed up so should be a good tournament! Unfortunately I'm not able to join but have asked players who are going to keep a track of lists.

I'll ask and/or grab the lists from Louisville.

Limited to 28 places, not 64. but it did sell out pretty quickly. They could probably have a few more players, and have room for it in their new store, but I think they want to keep it down to 3 rounds with no cut.

Just got back - about 25 players made it. About an even split of Rebels and Imperials; a Motti 2-ISDs+squads won.

I didn't catch too many lists but there seemed to be a fairly good spread of Commanders; several of us dirty-Raddus-players, Dodonnas, at least two Mottis, a Vader, Thrawn, Ackbar, Jerjerrod, Sloane and others.

Only one list had no large ships (an Ackbar CR90 swarm), most had 2. No Interdictors, no VSDs, but all other ships were there somewhere (even a Quasar).

Quite a few squadron-less lists, or lists with 1-2 squadrons. Quite a few with 100+ points in squadrons.

Points ranged from 360 to 400 (at 399 I got to choose twice).

Top 3 came down to MoV.
