Well at least that move allowed for custom avatars for like 3 of us...

I really do think this is an issue. Sure, you could say that you just have to buy from reputable sources....... BUT, there's no reason not to flip the deck list. This will stop the third party exploitation of decks. You'll know that a deck has been opened and looked through, because the deck is unsealed. I would like this much more than just expecting customers to protect themselves, because many of the customers will have no clue.
