FFG has said on the Star Wars: Legion website that painting guides will be uploaded in the support section. Although I'm very fond of creators like Sorastro's Painting, I'm curious to see what a written tutorial would look like.

There’s a short painting guide in the QuickStart rules, to give you an idea of what FFG might do.
