You're given a Fuel leak crit, do you then take a damage and repair.
Got ruled on me that I then take a damage as having got the crit that triggers the damage, then repair
bonkers ruling.
certainly v poor English if it is.

Fuel Leak is not a direct hit and 1 instance of Fuel Leak cannot trigger itself.
That's what I thought.
So here's the sequence. When you suffer a Fuel Leak, initially, it does nothing.
It triggers once you suffer *another* crit. Maybe that's the next time you get attacked. Maybe that's the next critical damage you suffer during this attack (having Fuel Leak and Hull Breach at the same time gets really nasty).
Then, you'll take a regular damage and repair the fuel leak.
Basically, it's a delayed-action Direct Hit, that might never give you the 2nd part.

That actually happened to my opponent's Falcon yesterday.
Exactly enough to make it go Boom. Very nasty.
Played against a Decimator and got my first hull damage on it as a crit that was Hull Breach. Had 2 more ships still to fire on it and it spiraled oit of control pretty rapidly. Multiple Fuel leaks and Direct Hits which just combined into additional crits because of Hull Breach. I did something like 14 damage with 9 or 10 attack dice.
