Can anyone one point to a non-facebook link where Strange Aeons by Paul M N Haakonsen might be found.

Unfortunately the only place to find find Paul's stuff is on the Facebook pages, he does have another setting coming very soon which should be very impressive as I am helping him with it and we have a creative group started on Facebook, so there are other things that Facebook allows you to do. So come and check it out... He does have other stuff like a Zombie's game which I think was his first pdf following by the pdf you are looking for then he has a Fallout pdf and finally the Shadowrun Pdf which I highly recommend great books all of them.

I have to agree. The Facebook-only release is awkward and off-putting. I'm even logged into my account, but clicking on his links asks me to log in again? Seems weird and fishy. Good on this guy for putting out good content, but it would be nice if I folks could access it more easily!

They are, however I would actually like to have them printed so I am rebuilding Shadowrun to be more print friendly and consistent. I can pass a link onto you when finished if you wish to give it a review. I also hope to give the final PDF the ability to switch between GENESYS and SW symbols using javascript attached to a button. I think I have figured out how to do this but is the last thing to do after the last layout corrections. Its close to being done.

That sucks for those 3 or 4 of us who eschew Facebook.

Hey Gilbur, can you give us an update on that setting you are working with Paul?

I'm very interested in printing Paul's Shadowrun. Did you manage to make it more printer friendly while using Genesys symbols?

Paul took a little hiatus into the setting we are working on together but is doing a Borderlands conversion and he got into painting miniatures as well. Magic and Psionics is going to be a little bit different that all the other settings he has put out, so I am giving him a break from the creation process. We did chat almost everyday, so I am communicating with ideas. I will keep everyone up to date as the setting gets back on track.

unfortunately no he did not create a more printer friendly version and there is a conversion chart for both Genesys and Star Wars so it is for everyone. I myself would not get two different sets of dice considering both have the same effect, you could print out the conversion chart and place on all sides of the table so others can look up the comparison.

Actually others have posted his stuff here and I will probably post the stuff here as well, like when the new setting book comes out and his other project he got involved with a couple weeks ago as he is taking a hiatus from our Setting book to convert Borderlands over to Genesys.

I did get it finished. I will provide a link as soon I have an opportunity. It should be within the next day or so.

As promised, here is the link to the Genesys: Shadowrun re-build . When possible the original images were chased down to ensure maximum color print quality. The way the text was extracted may have resulted in some layout, formatting, or typo issues that were introduced. There is a low quality (LQ) version that people can make comments on via google docs preview mode if these issues need to be fixed. Game mechanics/conversion issues are something I would rather avoid addressing.

Great work! When I downloaded it several of the stat boxes in the contacts section are either obscured by the artwork or they extend off the right side of the page and get cut off. I noticed these issues on pages 38-48, other than that I am not seeing anything at first glance.

Thanks, Not sure what happened. I will fix them and have it up tomorrow morning.

Issues have been Fix. There was a font that wouldn't embed in the PDF during export. When i tweaked the font properties, it affected the appearance of the font and through off the formatting at several spots throughout the document. Todays learning: Test export PDF to make sure all fonts export properly at the beginning, not the end 😛 .

Also fixed Bookmarks.

Thanks for this! One small thing I have noticed is that everything in bold is a bit blurry and I am not sure how will it look once printed. Can you check it?

It looks find in my Acrobat under windows. I spot checked several pages and printed page 3 on my laser printer. There is no indications of blurriness on my end. Are you noticing it on specific pages or on every page with bold? Perhaps it is your viewer, what viewer on what platform are you using (ie Safari on Ipad or Acrobat on Android, etc)

I noticed in the every bold text on the Archetypes section. I'musing also Acrobat on Windows 10, so that's not it.

I see what you mean. When I zoom in, it goes away. I think it has to do with the weight of the font and how acrobat renders it. If it goes away for you when you zoom in then you are probably seeing the same thing. If possible, try printing one of the pages in question. If it persists let me know.

Where can the Strange Aeons setting be found? I've searched around, and even Facebook is drawing a blank.
