Ships you feel should have a Ship Ability or Configuration

Your opinion about the superlaser, while your own, is moot. It happened and so there is the theory that it can be replicated in game form. I am behind a superlaser B-Wing so long as it is appropriately balanced.

It should be unique at least, maybe that unicorn low accuracy/high damage weapon we've always asked for but never gotten.

The problem with low accuracy/high damage is that there is always _something_ that makes it hit more often. Some combo of abilities that stack in a way that it becomes higher accuracy than it was ever intended for. And then you've got a high accuracy/high damage weapon that starts to chase away everything that's got lower survivablity.

That's how the arms race starts. And it ends with X-Wing 3.0.

For example, the Battle Fleet Gothic Nova Cannon... A guess the distance w/n a range band, massive aoe, massive damage weapon developed and released for the game without taking into account how rapidly people can develop accurate estimation skills for short distances (less than a meter/yard)...

After a little revising, how about this?

Sorry, didn't get pinged when you posted.

Yeah, it think that's pretty **** solid!

Now I want to just have those made and convince people to let me run it.

If you do let me know how well it does.

Bwing:

Reinforced Deflectors:

When defending, if the attacker is in your [foward firing arc], you may change one of your BLANK/FOCUS results to an EVADE

This would cool, and "narrow attack profile" is an advertised feature of the b-wing.

Uhh... The B’s dial is arguably one of the reddest dials in the game. It’s not *bad* per say, but Y-Wings are more maneuverable without an R4, and the B’s Barrel Roll is no longer a unique thing for it. Of all the ships making the transition to v2, I feel like the B-Wing got the least amount of scrutiny. I have difficulty justifying it over a T-65 X-Wing, and feel it needed a reload, or reinforce, or free evade when being shot at from it’s front or rear arc... or something.

BUT v2 did indirectly help it out tremendously by doing away with it’s biggest bugbears, Twin Laser Turrets and Harpoon Missiles. And it is an efficient jousting platform with very little reason to not take a super-cheap Hull or Shield upgrade! I feel like when they rerelease it for v2, we’ll get an E2 Title and probably some bells and whistles for it. And yeah, if E2 gives it a crew slot, I’ll be plugging a damned GONK into the thing.

I see where you're coming from a logical point regarding the dial, but from flying the ship a lot, the B-wing dial is frickin great. Its slow but ultra maneuverable. Its awkward to fly with faster ships, but flies great in a swarm. Its pretty common to get the block and 3x range 1 shots on the 2nd engagement.

I like it better at PS2 than PS4. 4x Blues with AS is a fun list.

As much an I hope it gets new toys on re-release, from what we've seen so far, re-released ships aren't getting stuff not already in the conversion kits.

TIE Aggressor :

Synced Turret

While you perform a Turret attack, if you have a lock on the defender, you may change all of your Focus results to Hit results.

A man can dream.

I would argue for giving the B-wing an extra evade die altogether if its attacker is in the B-wing's Bull's Eye arc (possibly extending it to the aft, as well).

You mean like the Y-Wing, X-Wing, TIE/ln, TIE/x1, Firespray, Fang, Silencer, Resistance Bomber, and Upsilon?

The one they put extra packets into the kits for since they were extra components "not included in the conversion kits"?

Is that what you mean?

Not need to be hostile. Yeah that's what I mean. Included in a packet is still included.

They explicitly stated in the Wave 3 article that the Z95 and Silencer re-release will not have any cards not in the conversion kits.

I'd love to be wrong though!

No, I realize what you mean. I'm sorry that I came across as hostile. But the assumption is that they'll be doing that in future waves as well; I think they just figured the Z-95 and the Striker were fine as-is (and many agree) and they need to release some in a not-dedicated-rerelease wave in order to meet their timeline.

My expectation is that around or shortly after Wave III we'll be getting a wave of rereleases along with a similar packet of pilots and upgrades for each faction. Will probably include the Rebel Falcon, Resistance Bomber, Upsilon, and Silencer. More would be nice, but Hyperspace legality doesn't seem to indicate this.

Z-95s aren't Hyperspace legal and are due out wave 3, so they can release whatever though I agree that the 4 you listed are likely + the Resistance Falcon. A-Wings, B-Wings, Tie/Sas and TIE/Ins also seem likely to me along side Scum Y and Scum HWK (the last 2 that Scum had to buy multiple ships to field a single model of in 1.0).
