In the current Mafia game, Herowannabe voted himself.
I tried that in a game some months ago and was told that I could not vote myself, even though the rules don’t say so explicitly.
What is the actual rule?
If the rule against self voting exists can it please be added to the general rules we use each game (the ones with Han Solo shooting himself).

The rules are what the moderator allows, in general on this site we disallow self votes.
Offsite its legal, And can be used to good effect by scum at L-1 to End a day before town can rally together.
I think it should be the Mods preference as to legality on a game by game basis.

Just saw this thread. For what it's worth, I meant that mostly as a joke, and was mildly surprised when Jabba counted it.

There is no rule. Many mods use it. You would hope they would declare it in their rules list unless a b@stard mod.

The Han Solo rules that you reference and @The Jabbawookie posted clearly state in capitals, no talking outside the thread. You should have been modkilled for this thread.
Its a sensible suggestion and hopefully Ebonhawk takes it onboard.
