Just to be clear, I'm not talking about people that didn't like the movie, everyone can have their own opinion and I understand that there has been some decision made for the movie that doesn't please everyone. I'm talking about the people that feel the need, one year after the release of the movie, to remind everyone at every occasion that they hated the movie.... like a dog that barks every time someone knocks at the door...
I really have tried to avoid this argument for quite some time now, but I really have something I’d like to add, I would also like to add that the newer sequel trilogy is not what I have enjoyed when it comes to Star Wars and I’ve been around longer than all the movies.
The thing that bothers me most about these arguments is that the group who likes the movies are just as belligerent and offensive as the group they are attacking for being belligerent and offensive about the new movies. It’s just movies guys, **** I didn’t like the last Indiana Jones movie either and I haven’t found the need to go online and attack people who did or didn’t like the movie. It would be really nice if both sides could learn to shut their pie holes and discuss games.
I really don’t see the insanity of arguing with someone you’ve never met about something that makes absolutely no difference in life. If you want to hate on the new movies, I’m positive that there are sites on the internet where you can do that. If you want to love on the new movies and think they are the greatest thing ever created, I’m sure there’s a site somewhere out there for you too. Since we are on a site that concerns plastic spaceships that have no ability to act and no control over what creator designed them and implemented them into a story, maybe, just maybe we could try to stop being offensive and belligerent about something as insignificant as a movie, no matter what side of the line you view said movie(s) from.
