When you accept 1 or more damage, you regain the same amount of force tokens.

Overwhelming Shot (Force)

When you declare an attack and the defender is in your bullseye arc, you may spend 1 force token. If you do so, in the defense phase, the defender can not throw more defense dice than the number of your hit and crit results

Soooo Hateful Maulzra could definitely be a thing. Overwhelming shot looks like a fairly solid card all-around? Someone on reddit pointed out that Vader will be a decent candidate for that. We should definitely be seeing a wider variety of force powers used once this stuff drops

Hate being Maul's ability but better and without the stress is kind of a let-down for Maul TBH.

Except tiny, itsy bitsy issue that it's a Dark Side upgrade so more likely than not inherently limited to Empire, FO, Scum and CIS.

The paragraph you quoted started off talking about Hate, I thought you meant that too, at first.

Still, an Ezra shuttle with Maul would allow Luke to bring Hate, if you really wanted to go there, right? 😂

Realistically Hate is a terrible option for Luke (wow, such theme) but I guess Maul’s card technically only allows the ship he’s actually on to have the dark side, right? “You” means that ship?

Correct, he doesn't allow anyone to equip Dark Side talents, just the ship he's on.

I’m actually really liking both of these.

This further reinforces I made the “correct” choice by choosing First Order over the Resistance. Yes, I know Resistance will be loaded with goodies too, but from what I’m seeing they aren’t leaving the FO behind either.

But there’s going to be lots of salt on these forums that these are behind the wall of new faction conversions. I may have to log off for a few months.

They haven't been mentioned yet, but I'm hoping there will be Light Side-only Force talents as well. Doesn't feel right for the naughty boys to get all the toys.

I'm willing to bet there are. Hate was only briefly visible in one of the Wave 3 kits, I believe...

Overwhelming shot might kick Ventriss up to viability depending on the points cost. It'll be nasty on Delta 7s and v1s.

It's bullseye-only, which makes me think it'll only really be useful on high-initiative pilots with repositioning.

Anakin will love it. Angry Samurai Anakin will probably also like it, once he's stapled some afterburners onto his " " " "advanced" " " " spaceship.

Overwhelming Force seems pretty solid especially for those long range pot shots. And Fenn Raus.

I'm interested in it particularly because it makes low dice numbers SO much stronger.
