This came up in a recent game and for some reason I can't find the answer.

A Phantom had 2 stress tokens and a lock on it when it docked with a Ghost. What happens to the tokens? We played it that the tokens stayed on the ship, but couldn't find an official answer.

So per the RR under Docking, it says a ship that is DOCKED goes into the Reserver. Under RESERVE is states...

During the End Phase, a ship that is in reserve still removes all circular tokens and recovers charges on all of its cards with recurring charge icons.

So until they clarify this further, only the circular tokens come off for now.
