BBBBZ Revisited

Amazon's deal of the day includes B-Wings for $6 so I splurged and picked up enough to run the old BBBBZ list. My question now is, is it any good?

There's also enough points to sub out Lt. Blount for AP-5 in a Sheathipede. Fewer attack dice, but increased potential for full mods. Or do I just drop the 5th ship and upgrade the B-Wings? Maybe with FCS, veterans, and a talent each?

Thoughts?

I think you’ve got it right with Blount and and AP-5– they are both solid choices. If you choose to upgrade I would throw in both B Aces with Elusive and shield upgrades.

You must have picked up 2 rebel conversion kits? My 3rd and 4th B’s are sidelined until I can get the materials to supplement the two dials that come with one kit.

Ditto, I got a 2.0 B conversion kit for around $5 shipped on ebay

I've tried BBBB several ways, 4x Blue/AS is probably the best and certainly the most fun.

I dig it. Though you can play 4 Bs now with the two named and a couple upgrades. This might still be the way to go because Bs are certainly knife fighters and Blount's ability should trigger a bunch. Gotta get me some dials too though to run any of the options.

For one more point I prefer the U-Wing over the B-Wing but 2x U-Wing and 2x B-Wing with a Z-95 coule be impressive (so much HP/Attack)

BBBBZ was one of ma favorit list but sadly not much B-Wing for me so I did a variant : BBXXZ and have good success ! :)
