Skaven and Orc rush are still looking like the decks to beat, but I was curious what kind of luck people have had with Big Orcs? Here's my latest version:
Units: 26
3 Followers of Mork (2-O)
3 Lobber Crew (2-O)
3 Squig Herders (2-O)
3 Clan Moulder's Elite (2)
2 Big 'Unz (3-O)
2 Bloodsworn (4-C)
3 Boar Boyz (4-OO)
2 Ugrock Beardburna (5-OO)
2 Grimgor Ironhide (6-OOOOO)
3 Bloodthirster (8-CCCCC)
Supports: 10
3 Warpstone Excavation (0)
2 War Paint (0-OO)
3 Contested Village (1)
2 Orc/Chaos Banner (2)
Tactics: 12
3 We'z Bigga (0-O)
3 Seduced By Darkness (0-C)
3 Rip Dere 'Eads Off (1-O)
3 Brutal Offering (2-CC)
Quests: 2
2 Wolves of the North (0-CC)
Play weenies to Quest/Kingdom and beefy guys to the battlefield. Brutal Sac to kill battlefield weenies and turn on your Boar Boyz/Beardbruna/War Paint. Play all your supports to one zone so you can Grimgor the other one. Eat attackers with Ripped dudes.
I usually don't like Ripping the Thirster in Quest, since it's only netting you three cards for a barrel; but, if you need somebody for a big Brutal Sac, it becomes a pretty sweet deal.
Would be nice to get at least the third banner or Bloodsworn in there to help with loyalty costs, but that would probably mean losing either the Lobber Crews (gasp!) or the Followers/Herders. And the third War Paint could be good. Might drop a We'z Bigga for that.
Is Basha's Battle-Axe or Deamonsword worth including? Other suggestions? Have you played something similar?
Two cards doesn't seem like a particularly elaborate combo, especially since Rip is playable without the Thirster. That makes it a little more reliable than Verena/Electors, which doesn't seem to be too fancy for most folks.
