Potential Packaging Improvment

By Shamwrock, in KeyForge

Hey everyone, first post here. I was thinking of an improvement for the packaging that could help identify what deck is inside. Since most people will have quite a few different decks, sometimes upwards of 100s (who knows), it might be worth it to include preforated half circles on the front of the box. I drew a terrible pic in paint to show you guys. You can slide your main card, the one with the list on the back, in front so you can easily identify which one. Obviously you probably wouldn't keep it there when moving around, but if they're laying around the house, it'll be easy to find the deck that you want. I know I would use it, especially with a couple of my roommates decks scattered around.

Thoughts?

Thanks for reading my dudes

This has been discussed to death since Keyforge was first announced. Should or should we not know the contents and/or Houses of a deck before we purchase it. All I can say is FFG decided we do not get to. Lots of people have strong feelings about this either way, but there it is.

Edit: Nevermind then, I apparently misunderstood the intent of the first post, or rather I skimmed the post, saw the picture and the line "Identify what deck is inside" and jumped to a (wrong) conclusion, my apologies.

Those boxes aren’t good for storage. Its just shelf packaging. Your going to easily wear down the top card-board by constantly opening and closing it makeing it useless for holding it.

I think they're talking more about using the packaging as deck storage once it's already open.

Yeah this would mainly be for people who don't want to buy deck boxes for each deck they have, especially in large numbers

But one deck box can hold two decks. Maybe three depnding on the box.
