Dengar (crew) on a Yt-1300

By dotswarlock, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Just to double confirm, Dengar's ability only requires that the enemy be in arc (and after defending). So if the falcon has its turrets facing sideways, this means that:

- Both side arcs are covered by the Falcon's auxiliary arc.

- The frontal arc is also valid since the Falcon has a missile slot. Whether it has missiles or not does not matter.

This is correct?

no. the missiles arc is only relevant for performing the missile special attack, it's not considered a firing arc for other purposes.

turret arcs are consideres firing arcs for the purposes of other effects, so in your example, both side arcs are fine.

Oh ok, I see what you mean, but I found the right quote to confirm your answer:

Rules reference, page 4: Firing Arcs: "A ship's firing arcs include all shaded arcs on a ship's ship token plus all "mobile arcs icon", if any. If a n upgrade card gives a ship a "mobile arc icon" arc or primary weapon with a specific ard, those arcs are also firing arcs."

So after checking the image of Lando's falcon again, its frontal arc is not shaded , so it's not a firing arc by default.
