Yep. The arrow also has the same shape and cross hatching as the Agility symbol used for the stat.

Yep.

I like the idea of it lowering your agility. Stress messes with your actions and manoeuvres, this messes with your dice.

It seems like it might be a self induced token [speculation], so its a trade off for doing something cool, but you've hung yourself out to dry in the process. It would have to be something different enough from both stress and tractor beam though to justify a new token type, so who knows. I am thoroughly intrigued though.

I could see buzz droids applying it, too, but they only come in the solo Vulture pack which doesn’t have the token, right?

It doesn't have the token that we're aware of much like the Squadron pack doesn't have the upgrade or template that we've seen. Since it was the first major info dump for Wave 3 there could be a fair bit they didn't show.

So the most likely condition to deal these out is flying through the cloud-of-mysterious-makeup. But Droids can get a bonus if you fly through, oooooor more likely, deal the token out in a second way?

@SpiderMana Courtesy of takfar we have what seems to be the rest of the upgrade. Since even friendly ships obstruct (there just isn't an effect without an upgrade like Tactical Scrambler), this could be a nice way to mitigate damage and debuff an enemy blocker at the same time.

Except the wave 3 announcement article doesn’t have these new tokens matching up with the new obstacles. The sith infiltrator includes 3 of the tokens but no obstacles, the cis squad pack has 2 tokens but 3 obstacles, the republic squad pack on the other hand has 3 tokens.

Surge does seem likely as a game mechanic name. Similar effect to overload, so I could see it translating more directly as that but being called Surge in the English game.

Also, I know it’s a rough translation, but it seems unlikely that it can be any ship, right? I’d assume it has to be a friendly ship obstructing.
