Jyn Erso and Pathfinders Article Up
Those Pathfinder sculpts look so good
I am so excited for this!! Please carry on with more Rogue One figures. Shoretroopers/DeathTroopers, Cassian Andor! All of it!
Interesting... new upgrade slot that seems to be a ranged weapon and unique personnel upgrades that look like Bistan and Pao from R1. The new pistol upgrades have the Reconfigure keyword which seems to say "When you recover you may flip this card."
Can anyone read what their cards say?
Pathfinders
Danger Sense 3 (you may choose not to remove your suppression tokens. While defending against a ranged attack, roll 1 extra defense die for each suppression token you have, adding up to 3 extra dice)
Dauntless (after you rally, if you are suppressed but not panicked, you may gain 1 suppression token to perform a free move action)
Infiltrate (you may deploy anywhere beyond range 3 of all enemy units)
Jyn
[Action]Quick thinking (gain 1 aim token and 1 dodge token)
Danger sense 4
Infiltrate
Nimble
Sharpshooter 1
Pathfinders would look good on Hoth.
I'm really surprised that Jyn Erso is a purely melee unit unless you have an upgrade, which takes you to 138(?) points. That's boba territory, and 22 points less than Luke...

I'm surprised by that too, but her Tonfa is Suppressive, which is interesting for a Melee weapon. Beat on troopers until they panic?
Hard to tell but it appears as though her pistol is 0 points.

I don't know, she seems pretty impressive. Infiltrate is far better than Scout, she'll be able drop in pretty much anywhere to start in a solid position with the Pathfinders. Not sure what her other commands are, but I'm sure they'll jive well with Pathfinders, too.
I'm thinking Jyn/Leia will definitely see time on the table.
Infiltrate is going to be fun, because the first person to deploy it might be able to restrict other players. Making set up more fun/aggravating.
Looks like Jyn's 1-pip is Rebellious: Jyn Erso gains Charge. Once per round when an enemy unit at range 1-2 and in line of sight of Jyn Erso activates, before it performs its Rally step, Jyn Erso may gain 1 suppression token to either perform an attack against that unit or to perform a free move action.
Also,
A-100 Pistol Config

It will be interesting what else her command cards do.
Given she comes out 1st Qtr next year, I was thinking you might see Jyn/Generic Commander lists. Jyn and Pathfinders out in the vanguard, and a Generic Commander following behind with the more traditional troops.

That’s a zero. It costs nothing
edit you can see it’s the same digit as her unit cost, 130

Well, the card has Reconfigure (which talks about flipping the card when you take a recover action), so it might be the other side has the cost (and is a different configuration). Guess we will have to see when the give out more info.
So Jyn gets to deploy beyond Range 3 of enemy units, has a 3 Courage, can use her 1-pip to gain Charge, has a melee attack that is Suppressive, and can use her Quick Thinking card action to gain a Dodge and an Aim. Sounds interesting.

I think it’s more likely that these function like the X-wing upgrades that are reversible, which also cost 0; for example S-foils. They are intended specifically for Those units.
(Especially since those weapon upgrades are Jyn Erso only and Rebel Pathfinders only respectively)
Edited by DerraultGotta be the best minis so far.

It is possible. I just note that the Pathfinders have a weapon upgrade slot like Jyn does, and the fully visible upgrade card is a reconfiguration of their main gun into a carbine mod and has a cost of 6 (still pretty cheap)

Yes, they are excellent sculpts.
Looks like there’s an “overwatch” upgrade card
These definitely win “most interesting units” for the models and the new stuff

Yeah, saw that to. Will be interesting to see how that differs from Standby.
