The BB droids will be fun little buggers. For 2 charges, you can become Sabine/Supernatural, which in essence is a TIE Striker deluxe! I know we are talking about Resistance, but let's derail this onto strikers....haha!
I'm going to slap primed thrusters on anything with a tech slot (especially considering the synergy it will have with some pilots and extra flexibility). I've sang the praises of that card incessantly, even more so when the apocalypse of 1.0 was crashing down. Its minor nerf and inevitable hike will still be worth it, especially with Sloan, Red maneuvers being good on T 70s and A's, Ferrosphere Paint, potentially Kylo if he works the same way as before...in fact, the only ST ship that won't get primed thrusters from me (aside from Malarus) is the TIE/FO. On that basis, for me at least, Resistance will be defined as "put that primed thrusters on it. Now. Especially with a BB droid. Now you are Duchess Deluxe!"
For less squirrelly blockers/big guns, M9G8 looks pretty good for something on a bombing escort mission. He didn't shine all too much in 1.0 despite his annoyance and clear superiority to R7 astro, but now that things have calmed down, he is looking shiny now. Finn looks good, but Rose is so good (basically miss your shot for a free lock or some crazy good synergy with finn), but she will likely be pricey a la Luke Gunner. Not only that, but she is worth significantly less if you are prone to lock in the first place, plus hillariously and thematically has negative-synergy with Heroic. Speaking of Heroic, the pilot on that art card has potential to be good, for the sake of I5 a wing before we get to the support ability (maybe with her in play, Resistance Han as the co-pilot of a Falcon will get extra mileage).
Moving on to A wings, the guy who can rotate arc passively looks very good, especially combined with primed thrusters, for that complete Sloan disrespect. The passive Expose guy also looks to be rather dandy, except if he is trying to go on the run, as his ability will hamper his ship's proclivity to link actions. I am afraid of price, as the Rebel A wing is a tad overcosted, and the ability to become a revised lambda in terms of firepower whilst disengaging looks rather good.
