I am new to X-Wing and have just bought the Falcon 2nd edition.
Apart from the large base, there is a small base in the set. What is this one used for?

The Scum Falcon ? I believe that's for the Escape Craft.

My Escape Craft took 2 Hours of frustration to actually get out, but looking at the unblocking videos its meant to slide out super easily (mine now does to.)
Also the Escape Craft stays in really well.
