Scout and exhausted creatures

By Soapy, in KeyForge

Text of Scout: For the remainder of the turn, up to 2 friendly creatures gain skirmish. Then, fight with those creatures one at a time.

Hi guys. Do the creatures that gain skirmish have to be ready? Or is this rare card a way to fight with exhausted creatures again?

Thanks

It doesn't say it readies, thus it doesn't ready them. It just allows you to fight with two creatures from outside your active house basically.

To fight a creature must exhaust. Since the card doesn’t ready them you do as much as possible meaning they don’t fight if they’re exhausted, they just gain skirmish.

Usually though off-house creatures are already ready. Unless your opponent exhausts your board with something.

Very true, so it’s not something that’s likely to matter in most situations. But you could always use the card with in house creatures for the skirmish effect or might have other cards that let your already use a creature, etc. Just clarifying that with an exhausted creature it wouldn’t let them fight.

Alright, thank you guys!
