Wait ... why are you guys saying Munitions Failsafe is new? It was in the CKs, wasn't it?

As far as I remember. It has been listed as costing 2 points (old school 1 points) from day one. They also missed the parts of the article covering the Striker and the Scum Z-95 stating that there is nothing in the expansions other than the models that wasn't in the Conversion Kits. As for nothing new with the Scum Z-95, they have short memories... You couldn't get a Scum Z-95 in 1.0 outside of the Most Wanted multi-ship pack without trading, the single ship Scum Expansion is the new thing about it. This also applies to having to purchase that pack and the HWK-290, Y-Wing if you wanted more than 1, and Firespray to convert them to Scum. None of those had single ship Scum Expansions.

@Kelvan Large bases have rules governing decloaking (Scum can transfer their Cloaking Illicit to a Large Base via Cikrago Visago from a small or medium base ship. The restriction only applies during list building) Rules reference states Large and Medium base ships decloak using 1 straight template.

As for the size of the Sith Infiltrator, compare the Image of the ship's base to the Arc-170's base focusing on the width of the bullseye arc in relation to the width of the template. Or alternatively look at the Sith Infiltrator on it's base compared to the Arc-170 on its base focusing on the maneuver template nubs and how far away from the sides they are.

For further clarity, a small based ship:

The Sith Infiltrator is Large Based. :)

TIL Hiemfire has a better memory and better detective than the podcast.

Blame it on prolonged jet lag and pre-Turkey Day madness. :)

On the Cik + Cloak Illicit shenanigans portion: for a minimum of 9pts worth of upgrades a player can end up with a pair of permacloaked Quads. Cik happens on the End Phase, Cloak upgrade checks on a cloaked ship equipped with it in the Planning Phase. So Cik + Inertial Dampeners on one Quad, another Quad with the Cloaking Device and a 3rd ship with an Illicit Slot also with Inertial Dampeners. That is the bare minimum. Cik does need to be in range 0-1 of the ships doing the swap. Result is 2 Init 1, 4 agility ships tossing the enemy into the rocks. Change out Inertial Dampeners for your Illicit of choice that fits. :)

My buddy was the one who took the 2 Blades w/ Selfless/Shield, Braylen, and Biggs to Mynock. He went 4-2 and easily could have gone 5-1. He lost versus Dale Cromwell and that game could have gone either way about 5-7 times. It was very exciting, brought me back to Dallas v Paul.

Huh... might make this a list contest.

@Kelvan - I heard a rumor (from @Chewbobca ) that you'll be at the Missouriclorian Championship on Dec 8th in Columbia? Yes? No?

yup!

I guess @Kelvan has already registered for the Disney New Committee party. Can't wait for the next batch of mudslinging he will throw at the Government of the Prequels party.

:P

As the thread started commenting on the show. Munitions failure could maybe make sense on a Kihraxz, as these fighters have missiles and potentially several mods, while not having the reload action.

However it is not cheap enough, esp compared to some other power combos/ships. If not other things go up in price, or some generics like the K go down or get discount(s) on upgrades, it is just wasted points.
