Condition card: Unless you are force-sensitive, your pilot ability must be ignored. Action: remove this card.

And while we're at this, let's make Blackout's ability the old autothrusters. But sadly, these instances are not the case.

I don’t think Blackout should be that way, but I’d be down for that for Kylo’s condition. It doesn’t hurt generics at all, so there’s counterplay. Also, action to clear it beats the “sorry you’re ps0 the rest of the game” of 1.0

None of the second edition pilot crits are that devastating, though. Panicked Pilot is probably the worst one, as double stress is rough and there's all sorts of things to gain perks against stressed targets. Everything else is manageable.

That sort of supports the idea of “ignore pilot ability” as being nastier than most of the crits you could pick

Just realized with all the Jedi, he could be literally useless in wave 3. Maybe ignore the force sensitive clause, but add "you may spend 1 force at any time to immediately remove this card." Also a bit thematic, since Rey has to resist as opposed to his literal mind-boggling simply glancing off immediately. That also clarifies force sensitive stuff for ships with force crew.

I could see Obi-wan with a skill letting him roll dice against bombs, à la evade from Jango in II.

Perhaps drop a cargo when attacker based on the same scene? If it is obstructed by said cargo, he rolls 2 extra dice.
