Honestly I have the same read on you that you have on me, and similar thoughts about Cal. This doesn’t look like his scum game to me.
My biggest issue with you comes from an inherent distrust of my own read.

That should have read you and cal

I can get that.. honestly I would be more surprised by you mad if you didn't distrust the read.. I've been second guessing myself today as well, I won't lie that I'm more than a little confused with my reads rn, but as said gut wise I'm seeing Bertie/Hero, Bertie just seems off this game, and hero came in hard pushing the me/cal point, which is sus because IMO it's the easy train RN to jump onto considering a lot of reasons have been given by others to hide behind

Because while he is always scum-hunting, or appearing to be, regardless of alignment, he also tends to be less open with intentions/information as scum in my experience. He's been open with his reasoning and deliberately stating intentions. I can't really put a finger on it but this feels Mad town, not Mad scum.
For example, when Matt came back, he said he didn't think Matt was looking good anymore. Scum Mad I think would've laid a vote with that, instead of just say it. I could be wrong, but Mad feels town.
Ebon is usually more combative as scum in my experience. Ebon is collected and calculating, which feels town.
By no means are they "cleared," just stating my observations based on behavior.
And I am saying they feel town to me to offer anyone the chance to counter that based on their behavior, or not, as they see fit.
A quick 3 man wagon there on Cal.
Pod started it with the random vote, but explained it was to hear back from cal as I, and also out or bertie/cal he saw more cal
Gnips joins in also for Cal posting "frequently with little to no content actually relevant to the game".
Bertie joins in 3rd, after starting off the wagon with the barrage of cal quotes
Off the 3 Gnips actually looks the least suspicious, as his vote comes with a through explanation on why it's there in standard Gnips stlye..
Pods vote came off the back of berties quotes and after I'd said I was wanting to hear back from cal... his reason " Bertie was sus around the hammer with his lurking, but its harder to prove intent there, so Im good to push Cal. " which to me can read scum or town pod pushing to me...
Bertie seems about as sus as pod here if not more so, starts the day off calling cal out and then waits for a couple votes to build up, and see how it's gone down first and then he votes disguising himself in the wagon...

This, I'm in no position to clear anyway D2 I can just make my observations as Cal as said.. this is part of the game, reading town just as much as reading scum

##vote: @EbonHawk
not that any reasons are actually offered other than sake of discussion

He and Ebon have taken it as a given and are promoting that assumption, and I find that dangerous. As Bertie and Jabba together pointed out above, that is not the case, and thus I say that giving LTD a pass is risky.
Hmm? Well a lynchproof is usually town, I don't think you can have a scum one.. it also raises the point if it's not a one shot how would town kill them anyway? without a night killing role themselves...
If it's a one shot, we just waste the luck we got from D1 re-killing a townie...
Where did Jabba say that is not the case?
##unvote
Not because of Ebon's post, but because I wouldn't want Caldias to get voted off immediately when there's still time for discussion. I had that happen to me on D2 in the last game I played, and I wouldn't want it to happen again, to Caldias or anyone.
I would like to know what people's suspicions are though, even if people aren't ready to vote yet.
One talking point that I'd like to bring up again, is whether Pod is acting normally or not. Caldias and Ebon say abnormal, GNIP and I say normal. (Ebon now says Pod could be scum or town, this just in as I'm typing this post.) What say the rest of you? @Madaghmire @clontroper5
@Constantine Valdor @Lord Preyer @LTD You all have played with him for a few games. What are your thoughts?
10 hours ago, The Jabbawookie said:The extent of the actual, flavor-free information I've given you is that the lynch on LTD has failed.
Hero asked specifically about Mafia alignment, and Jabba declined to answer.
I still think LTD is town, but in theory we don't know if LTD is town, scum or third-party.

Pod is always abnormal, more so D1, early D2 was pretty standard Pod though, so as you say I'm split myself... knowing him IRL doesn't help with reading him... I'd say I don't get his push on Cal post, and then not much from him after which is a jump back to not normal...
It's the shifting of him in my mind from town/scum that makes me wonder about him... I really can't place him this game

Just found the post, jabba only confirmed the 'lynch failed' which is correct and what we know, that doesn't change anything...
I don't for one see how it could mean LTD is scum

Ooh what happened to the ebon of yertergame who could read me perfectly...
Or did you just say that in a scum game?
Also, intent to re read berties older games when home

I said that in a scum game ages ago trying to get you killed, think it backfired spectacularly if I remember...
Also since you've been playing off site mafia I do find you a lot harder to pinpoint now than I used to

I am of the impression that in an experimental game, one cannot be sure that a (potentially one-shot) lynchproof is town, nor indeed that the lack of kill can be put down to lynchproof.

Below, by implication:

And yeah, I'm open to allowing chat through Thanksgiving. It's really about what all of you want.
@The Jabbawookie my vote from d1 on Cal is gone? Do I have to revote?

It doesn't carry over from day to day.

I hear you, not saying it *isn't* scum, but for me I don't see, experimental is one thing but a lynchproof scum would be pretty OP IMO...

If you want to push the LTD train go on, I won't be joining it though, because LTD was in best case scenario for us.. you also have to think about possible setups in a bad game.
Assume LTD is scum, and not found till near lylo, his kill then fails and scum wins... OP considering he would've been found.. I just don't buy it as scum

I am inclined to think of him as town, for now, it is merely an observation.
