I’m going to hold off on voting for now. I’ve played Mafia before but I’m unfamiliar with some of the terminology. Specifically, what does “hammer” mean? From the context I’m guessing that once one player receives a certain number of votes (one more than half the remaining players?) then the cycle immediately ends?

also, are PMs between players or groups of players allowed?

Hammer means when a majority of players have voted in agreement. Almost always on a player, but town can also vote for a "no vote." As you guessed, we proceed straight to night.

No talking out of thread unless you are specially allowed to do so. You can ask any questions on the the thread, or if secrecy might be an issue, to me via PM (I may answer on the thread anyway.)
