You feel that good about it being ebon? You dont wanna check on one of Hero’s reads?

What do you mean? EBON is one of Heros

Yeah, that seems like some conclusive ****.

Yeah i realized that after i posted it. I went back to check, saw heros post, and voted accordingly

Ebon is now at L-2

Stick him to L1 and watch Preyer swerve the hammer...

Hmm, interesting Hero must be a real cop then, I thought he was paranoid but that's even better.

In lue of letting them defend themselves, I will forgo voting but @EbonHawk I am ready to cast a vote on you

Clon is starting to read less slack jawed turkey muncher and more town these last couple of days.... ;)

More like DeadbonHawk

##vote EbonHawk

I can pull the vote off if we're worried, but to me it seems pretty solid. Do we want to wait for a claim?

Exactly why I scanned him- after my first two results I wanted to scan someone I was fairly confident was town to see what happened. Clon was one who I was originally suspicious of, but after Bertie died I went back and skimmed most of the thread and it changed my mind about Clon. I don't remember what specifically it was, but something about Bertie & Clon's interactions convinced me they weren't working together.

~~STATEMENT: confirmed~~

~~REMINDER: Turbo-ing a unit (whilst there is still abundant time on the clock AND before that unit has even responded) is (at best) poor form and at worst Scum play.~~

scanned @clontroper5 and got a town result.

So to recap, that gives us the following:

 Mad’s scans:

Matt: Anti-town - confirmed town by death

GNIP: Anti-town

LP: Anti-town

My Scans:

LP: Anti-town

Ebon: Anti-town

Clon: Town

So there are several possible scenarios, however it seems likely that Mad is a paranoid cop and I am either a real cop or one who gives random results. There’s only one way to find out for sure .

~~RESPONSE: there is a third alternative (as previously stated on multiple occasions): @Herowannabe Is an Insane CopBot. As a consequence @clontroper5 Would be ScumBot and @EbonHawk would be CIS loyal.~~

~~RESPONSE: with apologies for potential slow/erroneous processing here @Madaghmire but your reasoning seems... curious.~~

~~If you are Paranoid unit (which is consistent with your @Matt3412 and your CIS read (albeit inversed and granted only this unit and probably Scumbots know that for a certainty) is it not more likely that @Herowannabe is an Insane CopBot than a CopBot that gives random or nighly alternating results?~~

~~As a consequence would a @clontroper5 VoteZap be more consistent (and indeed logical per Occam’s Razor Subroutine) than an @EbonHawk VoteZap which requires a more convuluted scenario to be proven accurate?~~

~~Thank you for your consideration.~~

~~ERRATUM ADDENDUM: “CIS read” in previous post was referring to @Madaghmire scan of this unit’s loyalty (after inversion)~~

I agree with LP. You guys are taking way too many things for granted. Just like yesterday, when we had already established that sanity modifiers probably WOULDN'T be revealed, you still insisted (mainly clon) that it would.

Now, you have taken it for granted that Mad is paranoid and that Hero might be insane, so you intend to lynch one of the potential towns barely 5 hours into the day?

(Side note: the attack on Cal doesn’t 100% clear Cal or Pod. It could be a wounded gazelle gambit- where the scum attack one of their own to gain trust)

How would that be possible, unless they have a doc or another roleblocker?

You generally know better than this. What possessed you to put a 50%-chance town at L-2 so early without a claim or defense?

I don't quite get this. 1) because it is a nifty way to clear him (assuming you are lying), 2) because why didn't you either scan one of Mad's reads to see if you get opposite results or rescan Ebon to see if your results alternated?

++INTERNAL: SUPPOSITION [CHECK LOGIC ACCURACY]: both insane would be functionally equivalent to paranoid/insane in terms of potentially clearing/implicating units - - i.e. @Madaghmire : CIS: Matt, GNIP, LP. @Herowannabe : CIS: LP, Ebon. Scumbot: Clon.++

~~STATEMENT: this unit continues to advise against using VoteZaps to clarify efficacy and nature of claimed CopBot readings but is prepared to draw on this information to help inform VoteZaps against suspected corrupted units~~

Oh look the baby killers are here to tell us to play proppa...

Functionally the same, yes, but it introduces new angles for consideration.

~~META ANALYSIS/HYPOTHESIS: there would be a certain symmetrical beauty in @The Jabbawookie following up his own Insanity Gambit by moderating a scenario with two insane CopBots. This unit believes that this is (at least part/mainstay/whole) of what was meant by “experimental”~~

Yeah, thats very possible. But we wont know until we lynch someone in that block. Probably better to start with an antitown read.

Unless you think hero is lying.

I don't think he is lying, I think he is insane. You both got the same result on LP. Why lynch Ebon?

If we lynch LP we can test both his sanity and yours. If LP is scum, you are paranoid not insane and Hero is sane. If LP is town, you are paranoid or insane and Hero is insane.

Lynching Ebon only reveals Hero, not you. If you are going to lynch antitown read of Hero's, choose LP.

1. I can self protect and did last night, due to not understanding something in my role that prevented me from protecting Mads. I still think Pod is on the level.

2. Is possible that there is a wounded gazelle if they had another roleblockers, but I am now guessing they don't due to no one announcing a roleblockered investigation.

3. They could both be insane. In which case lynching one if his investigations is still the best play. They amount of try hard LP is doing to steer the lynch makes me think he is scum trying to save the game.

4. I actually put him at L1 I think. And it is to see who hesitates to hammer him, which is good information to have, esp since lynching a target hero scanned is still the best play anyway
