Am I unique in absolutely hating the jumbled alt-art ship card format for this game?

I mean, the art itself is gorgeous, of course. And the transparent element is kind of cool, sure. But the layout is...*blech*. It's just a mess. No symmetry at all, no sense of organization - just symbols thrown all over the place around the edges. The overall effect is not aesthetically pleasing at all.

Would much rather have crew or commander cards. (For instance, Wraith did a considerably more awesome and canon-friendly version of Thrawn than the one of his that FFG actually ended up using. Can we PLEASE get this as the official alt-art card for Thrawn ?!)

That TRC is still a SIN I shall continue to denounce it!

As it pertains to the article I find the "Top 4" Prize rather underwhelming.

As I will be TO for an event I think the prizes are overall nice, just not keen on White Evade Tokens for Top 4.

I would like a chance to "win these the right way" there is another event early December about 2 hours from me. I really want to go but my Daughters first High School Hockey game of the season is the same day...

The white evade tokens seem really lame as a top 4 prize, I agree. I don't think they even look that great.

Brisbane 3 regionals WOW! Meanwhile Armada capital of the world Toronto gets 1, Vancouver BC, ZERO, Edmonton could easily sell one out but has none... Don't see why Calgary cant get another... I count 50ish regionals... seems like with 100 seats at worlds we could have had some more regionals handed out... or top two guaranteed seats would be helpful as well... hope to see you in chiraq! home of the Bueller

Why did they make a third Nebulon alt art? Aren't there like quite a few other ships that do not even have one alt art?

Sure are, comma, but frosty Yavaris.

The AA for top 64 which is normally everyone is nice, so as the one most likely to get its cool.

Top 16 Neb nice card I don't run Yavaris but I guess its better than a ship that hardly anyone uses, and if my memory is right we didn't even get a top 16 last year which was annoying,

Top 8 Nice dice they are pretty, I managed to get in top 8 last year and with two normal sets I don't need that many but the are a genuinely useful prize,

Top 4 kick in the teeth, not only are the new white backed tokens less attractive but seriously top 4? How many players are ever going to get a full set, I guess I should be glad its not the redirects I was expecting, I would still have preferred it if this was top 16 and the Neb was top 4.

Yeah, Top 4 should be range rulers as always. On the other hand that Neb is hot and I like it more than tokens. Also I'm happy that we've got dice in the end, as it was rumoured that there will none this year.

I have strongly mixed feelings. I doN't really like either of the cards, but i LOVE the dice and the defense tokens. I would gladly sell someone else's liver for those dice

Whats the general opinion on those of us who want to go just to play some Armada? Like, I just want to show up and support the game by playing, I didnt win anything previously, so...

I didnt start playing until last December so I havent been around long enough to know whats going on half the time.

Go and play Armada if you can.

The social experience is worth the cost of entry the most time.

Still no alt art Shrimp but that Kuat sure is pretty.

With 64 in the kit, and many Regionals averaging 20-30 players, I dare say there will be spares about.

It's coincidence. Ackbar should not be running multiple NebulonS. Period, full stop, there's so many better options.

One nebulon? Sure, that's fine enough I suppose. But multiple? Please don't.

So winning a regionals guarantees a reserved seat at worlds or no?

Also I hear you just can go and buy a seat to worlds on Sunday first come first serve?
