Me too.

I'm in! :D

And Armada is sold out, the first FFG game at Adepticon to do so.

Sorry for those that missed the last 48 hours news blitz, but watch for standby slots to open up.

Fk I went out to lunch and missed it.

Bummer

Welp, I guess I'll just have to win a Texas Regionals then. Do we know if a Regionals win still guarantees a spot?

Edited by Rikash

As far as what's been said, yes Regionals should give a spot.

Also i got in!

I'm also in.

Nice, but isn't it by far also the smallest FFG event, with regards to # of seats?

Lol... From nobody knows a dam thing to sold out in five days! Bravo ffg!

Remember that chart from Worlds? Armada fanbase exists, contrary to FFG's belief.

No, IA is smaller

Just totally unproductive negativity. Gtfo with that.

My understanding is that any unclaimed seats (from Regional winners choosing to attend/pay for the 40 seats set aside for that kind of thing) will go up for grabs on March 1st, so there's two different ways you could still make it at this point (win an event or get the second round of tickets).

I'm also in. Quick on the draw up here in Chi-town, all the interested locals I am aware of got tickets.

Calling it "Worlds" is kind of funny, when it's actually Nationals/Regionals winners from the NA area + a few more + a bunch of "random" locals :D

Vassal World Cup is the real 'Worlds' :D

Is it? What about people who play a miniatures game, not a computer game?

I guess it will be always like that as long as Worlds are held in USA. Perhaps if it alternated between NA/Europe that would be different? One can only dream...

I'm keen to discuss your arguments.

Why not both? I expect you'd see a lot of overlap between those who play Vassal and those who are at World's.

You know how your Star Destroyer is represented by a much smaller, plastic one? Ours is represented by a bunch of electrons. Doesn't get much more miniature than that.

Sometimes we even replace electrons with plastic for that authentic touch.

And that plastic is still just a bunch of electrons with some protons and neutrons mixed in so it feels more authentic.
