Is a font file for the symbols used in this game available anywhere? I'd like to be able to type up reference sheets or new abilities and such in a word processor, but i'd much prefer to have the actual symbols available rather than saying [bOON] or [FORTUNE DIE] or something.
Symbols font?
I don't have the font, but I use the following format for my notes:
Success symbol =
= One hammer symbol
[sS] = Two hammer symbols
[sSS] = Three hammer symbols
Challenge symbol = [X]
[X] = One challenge symbol
[XX] Two challenge symbols
Boon symbol = [+]
[+] = One boon symbol
[++] = Two boon symbols
Bane = [-]
[-] = One bane symbol
[] = Two bane symbols
Sigmar's Comet = [C]
[C] = One comet symbol
Die Abbreviations
dF = Fortune die
dM = Misfortune die
dX = Challenge die
dE = Expertise die
dC = Charateristic die
For Reckless and Conservative I use abbreviations from Tome of Adventures = R2 (two Reckless dice), or C3 (three Conservative dice)
You can find dice symbol font made by Froo here:
members.iinet.net.au/~froo/wfrp/WFRPdicesymbols.zip
Symbol text notation that is in common use on the forum made by NezziR here:

And a tool that converts the above notation to dice, and dice to above notation here:
**** it! Cursed 404 No Found!
Could someone send me the font? To doc_cthulhu (at) hotmail (dot) com? Pretty please?
Damned lacking edit function... So I got the symbols (big thanks to fellow gamer!) Now I'm only lacking WFRPdicesymbols Antique with the more Warhammerish lettering.
Glad to hear the u've received it!
What to u meand for lettering? if u are searching for "warhammerish" font grab Domenican .... i think is the one used for titles also in current 3e pubblications...
I mean I had WFRPsymbolfont Antique on my old computer. It had the symbols AND some antique font. Much similar to those used in WFRP. I already have some similar fonts on my new computer but being a somewhat stubborn in these matters I'm annoyed when I open an WIP file and it states that the required font is missing... And even though I know that I can substitute it with almost identical lettering I'm still cursing as I know it isn't the same...
Caslon Antique was the font I was steered to, I works very well.
