95, good run.
Been a Marvel fan for most of my years. For a long, long time I didn't think I'd see my favourite character tera on the big screen. There was Superman, Hulk, Batman, but no Marvel.
So glad Stan got to see the universe he helped create come together in such a magnificent way.
RIP Stan Lee.

I had to read 4 news reports, just to make sure, before i posted... only time i ever came close to tears over a celebrity death.
RIP. He helped create a world many have enjoyed throughout the years. Good run at 95 years and his legacy will live on.
He will live on in his creations. And superheroes never die. Excelsior!
Stan Lee may be dead, but as long as his name is spoken and his works are remembered he will never be gone.
Stan's legacy is complicated. Stan the Man co-created so much that I love, but Funky Flashman also screwed his collaborators out of so much of the profit.

While he made it to 95 its still really sad to hear, nevermeet him in person but he sounds like a good guy and he gave us my favorite hero, Spider-Man. RIP man and I hope he looks out for Marvel from beyond.

The Stan Lee cameo in Into the Spider-Verse.
It's just perfect.
"I knew him, he was a friend of mine."
And at the same time, he's selling Spider-man merch in the wake of Peter Parker's death, and nodding to the 'No Returns' poster. Some of Stan Lee's legacy certainly includes *****ing over folks like Steve Ditko in business deals. But at the same time, his line to Miles "It always fits, in the end" is also perfect. At the same time as being a joke, it's also the lesson Stan Lee has always taught us about super-heroes. And there's a third layer, because as Stan has said, "What I like about the costume is that anybody reading Spider-Man in any part of the world can imagine that they themselves are under the costume. And that’s a good thing."
He even did one in Venom.. wasn't expecting that one.
I finally started playing the Spiderman game on PS4 and I was very surprised to see a cameo by the man himself in it!

To me, it isn't so much the existence of the cameo, but the content.
It's the whole of Stan's legacy in 10 seconds, and it was beautiful.
