I am aware of that, just pointing out why I think people are a bit gun shy with how Rebels seem to be set up. It is a bit of a 180 from the old regen or block all/most damage that they're used to.

Due to list building restrictions we couldn't run Juke but we'd recommend switching to Juke. Blair has some interesting builds off the variations. We found that it was one of our more successful lists and I think went 4-0 for us. I guess spreading damage is good? Unknowable.

Why paying 50 points for sabine rather than 52 for wedge?

In the little bit I've experimented with damage spreading X-wings, this is the main bonus. It seems to be: What if you got to the mid game with all your ships? Not: What if you never took damage in your box formation?

Sabine hits as hard, is a better blocker, and is tougher.
