Buy them yet?
Medium bases and why can't we.......
Check ebay. I've seen them there if you dont want to buy a whole conversion kit. I'm waiting for them to redo the colored base packs with them added.
technically we can't buy any bases yet
hush, anything under the 1.0 section of the website doesn't exist
I was hoping we'd get new packs of the colored bases with the Republic wave. Those new ARCs will need some red medium bases.
Now if we could get Yellow then we will have 1 color for every faction!
I would very much like the coloured bases in medium..... I like my ships to all match so I am going clear for any builds with medium bases. But it's nice to have a different colour base then my opponent plus the coloured ones fit better than my clear ones.
Can of cheap spray paint.
Bases in virtually any color you want.

I hope they don't do clear again and do black instead. Did anyone actually buy the clear bases?

Out of curiosity, how would you allocate them?

Well 4 small bases 1 large base 1 medium base, 12 small pegs, 3 large pegs and 1 large to small peg (for that medium base).
Or are you talking about factions?
I don't know really. Well the first two we can get out of the way. Rebels get Red and Empire gets Green (it worked for the PC game series).
I guess 1st Or der can keep Purple, Republic is Blue and Separatists gets Orange
That leaves Resistance and Scum.
Well assuming the new color is yellow we got two factions and 2 colors left. Since I tend to consider Scum & Villainy the neutral faction not really composed of any type of nation or ideology I would give Resistance Yellow and Scum would get the clear bases.
So faction allocation assuming yellow is added.
- Yellow Resistance
- Blue is Republic
- Red is Rebels
- Green is Empire
- Purple is 1st Order
- Orange is Separatists
- and Clear is Scum & Villainy
Okay, now some one tell me the
correct
color-faction allocations

If you're really after "correct" over personal taste (honestly personal taste works fine) check the arc shading on the baseplate of a ship from that faction that has a set arc. Should be the Faction "color".

That doesn’t work though because the ST factions match their original counterparts. Unless they change them, but the TIE/FO preview article still looked green
