Question about "Pocket Universe"

By Dantastic24, in KeyForge

SO I ran into a unique situation where I have Pocket Universe in play:

Pocket Universe

I have one Aember in my pool and 1 on "Pocket Universe". My opponent plays "Ghostly Hand"

Ghostly Hand

Does my opponent steal the one Aember in my pool or does the fact that I have one Aember on Pocket Universe prevent him since I own 2 Aember?

I believe ghostly hand would steal nothing because you don’t have the Aember, the card pocket universe has the Aember the same way “captured” amber isn’t aember you have but rather armber the card itself has.

Yeah I would rule that amber on pocket universe doesn’t count as Amber in your pool, so ghostly hand would allow your opponent to steal the one in your pool.

That’s a fun card and wrong speculation was edited and removed from this spot.

We have been playing it as if Ghostly Hand steals the one Aember in your pool. If the artifact is destroyed the aember on it goes back to the general token pool per page 10 of the rulebook under Leaving Play.

Well never mind about my double edged sword comment then. I guess I’ll read the rules again. ;)

Ghostly Hand steals the one in your pool because you technically don't possess the one on Pocket Universe or aember on other cards in play.
