Hi,
Have a query about Blinding Light - does it stun my creatures of the specified house as well as my opponents? Were I playing MTG I would interpret "stun each creature of that house" to mean all creatures of that house, wherever they are in play, but I've just watched Richard Garfield's play through at Gencon and he only seemed to target his opponents creatures. Obviously has significant impacts for your next turn.
Otherwise, really like it on the first run-through. Deals with the money-for-power issue of constructed CCG formats, the problem of uneven resource distribution from shuffled decks if you're relying on mana/energy cards, allows you to cycle cards, and the "which house this turn" question opens up a really interesting strategic decision space, exploited nicely by Logos' power to cross houses. Plenty of silly combos and big swings mean the game stays fun for both sides, especially with chains allowing for really over the top stuff at a cost. RG has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about the flaws in MTG as a gaming experience (there aren't many, but they're significant and baked in) and gone a long way to fixing them. I'll be interested to see if Keyforge has the same flexibility of design space that MTG has, as time progresses.
