Also I think I will be making my hiatus official. I haven't had a lot to write about, plus my Legion minis got stolen out of my car. So... uh... not really feeling Legion right now.
Maybe that means I play more Armada?

Often plastic miniature cases and the like are mistaken for power tools, and in some instances, weapon cases - so they’re often snatched and later dumped by disappointed thieves.

Some idiot that doesn't know how hard it is to offload hand painted miniatures that have been painted in very distinct ways.
The minis were sitting in the (open) lid of the legion box, which I was using for transport. Guy stole the minis and about $0.60 of spare change. All the local stores that might buy the minis have been notified, and the police have video of the guy breaking into my car (and other cars).
Dunno why he thought it was a good idea. It was the only thing of value I had in the car, just not value to him.
Edit: Amusingly, my Armada list for the day is in what looks like a gun case. But it was inside the game store while this was taking place, because I was playing with it at the time.

It's very, very good against my friend's 4 ship all combat fleet. I guess i'll try and write about it once I further refine it.

It is a niche market, plus quick reaction to the theft reporting local selling/trading groups can prevent the sale of them. Sure your minis are worth maybe 200, but it depends on if anyone buys them.
In your “Reeikan Aces” category of the meta dive, it seems like a number of people have shifted away from Reeikan to Dodonna as the admiral of choice, just judging by the VAT results. I’d love to get your take on that development unless it’s just something of an anomaly.

I'd personally think that it's the 10 points let's you have a few more ship options, specifically. That's my motivation at least, and that bonus "crit choice" power can sometimes swing a game.
