Every time I Google this there's no thread that shows a clear explaination for Hera's Smooth Landing.
I believe the ability is "after deployment" which is intended as "after your deployment" rather than "after deployment phase".
Do you confirm?

Edited by Golan TrevizeIf it meant "after you are deployed", why would it not say that? I'm pretty sure it means after the deployment phase in skirmish and after the deployment of heroes (+allies) step in the campaign. (Lie In Ambush could be a consideration for FFG to change the interpretation.)
Figures are not in practise deployed one by one in Skirmish because you need to re-do the deployment phase if not all of your figures fit into your deployment zone but there is one configuration in which they would fit.
Edit: If Smooth Landing would trigger when Hera is deployed (instead of after the deployment step), the figures that moved outside of the deployment zone are not inside the deployment zone and you would need to redeploy everything so that they are inside the deployment zone. That would make Smooth Landing a no-op.

I see why it isn't after Hera's deployment, but my doubt is between these 2 cases:
1. I deploy all my figures, then Smooth Landing kicks in, or
2. I deploy all my figures, then all other players deploy all their figures and then Smooth Landing kicks in.
Which brings to my question: is this "after (current player) deployment" or is it "after deployment (step)"?

I hear that "after deployment" of Smooth Landing has been ruled to be after the deployment step, i.e. after all players have (legally) deployed their figures.
(Gives a bit more power to Smooth Landing.)
So on the blitz side of lothal wastes, you do Smooth Landing after you've done the move 8 spaces by ALL figures, not just Hera?
After the deployment step, before (drawing command cards and) the start of round 1.
