Monster in the village.

By Augster, in Talisman Rules Questions

Let’s say a monster is in the village because of something or other. Do you fight the monster THEN do the stuff in the village. Or do you fight the monster and that’s it until he’s gone or you are defeated?

Thanks.

Generally, if it's not a draw cards space, you always encounter the cards in the space, then the space itself (unless you encounter a character in that space). Obviously, you do not get to encounter the space, if you are defeated by an enemy card or it is a stand-off. In that case, your turn ends.

Thanks for the information. That’s how we played it as it makes the most sense.

sorry for my level in english language ... i'm from Paris, France

If there is a create/ennemy on the space "take one card" or village or ...
when you win against the creature/enemy that is in the space, than this creature/ennemy is your "trophée", and you encounter the space that is now free of card.
when you lost, it' the ends of your turn, and the creature/enney stays on the space.

If the space is a "take 2 or 3 cards" and there is a create/ennemy on it,
first you complete the number of cards on the space. and then encounter the card level1, then level2, etc
when you win against the creature/enemy that is in the space, than this creature/ennemy is your "trophée", and you encounter the space that is now free of card.
when you lost, it' the ends of your turn, and the creature/enney stays on the space.
