Barring him rolling blanks, when rolling paint, 2 die attack swarms without Crack Shot just lost even more relevancy. Yes, Supernatural Reflexes are better. But the option of him being able to regen, gain force token when being attacked, and paint off every single 2 die attack... Not bad.

Luke will only roll double focus on two green dice 6.25% of the time

Having an eternal force recovery of 1 means also evade+focus is two evades. Basically always two evades with paint every attack. Against a bunch of 2 die attacks that's still pretty nice. Too bad Rebels have to buy out of faction and at a high dollar chase card entry to get it.
My other point being, this upgrade makes 2 die ships even less favorable then they were before. It surely didn't help bring them into the meta more.

That's just what Luke does with nothing equipped. And he can still do nothing with blanks.
I don't understand who would buy out of faction for an upgrade that does nothing on 93.75% of rolls.

The buyer's perceived potential. Cloaker for example sees it as possibly being very potent, I doubt they are the only one.

6.25 percent of the time has a way of being still advantageous. It happens alot more than it projects to in the games I play ?
6.25% of the time it works every time
Stealth device luke?
The only ships I see this card being useful is on low INT generic force users (if its cheap), like you Inquisitors.
Bummer the TAP doesn't have a Mod slot. A SD BE Inquisitor would be a very annoying ship to shoot.

With 3 green dice, you roll 2+ eyeballs around 16% of the time. Gets up to around 25% at 4 agi.
Stealth Device Luke is pretty good idea with this!
Even better on Stealth Device Vader.

The swarm focus fire might catch up to Vader easier though then Luke, who gets that force token every single time sometime targets him....

Vader is useless without supernatural, even if this was free I'd never take this on Vader over supernatural.
As for Luke, he is never in short supply of force tokens, so a card enabling him to be a bit more efficient with them a tiny fraction of the time doesn't add much value.

I roll alot of paint, so I would love to take the Jedi Challenge of him alone with r2d2 vs. a 200 point 2 die swarm list....
It's a fun card, but I hope it's really cheap. It's basically a failsafe that's going to trigger once in every other game, in most cases. I'll take it on my Inquisitors if it costs 3 or less, but any more and it's probably not worth it.
Luke doesn't need Brilliant Evasion to more or less ignore 2 die swarmers.

But.... THAT JOUST IS THE MOST EPIC JOUSTIEST OF JOUSTS

This is so true. Tugboats are the only things sometimes I feel keeping Acewing at bay. Force users HATE them!

Torkil Mux...
I was unaware there were enough swarms that we needed swarmkillers...

Anyhow, depends on price. If this is cheap, that'd be pretty handy. Luke doesn't really need Heightened Perception. Sense isn't bad, but it's not always easy to for every player to gain a benefit from dial peaking. A lot of the time, I've looked at dials and not been able to do anything about it. That can change with practice, but not ever player or list can really take advantage of Sense. Instinctive Aim is good with a Torpedo, but useless without one. Supernatural Reflexes is incredibly potent, but it's also really expensive.
There's certainly room for a cheaper Talent option for Luke.
Double-eyes doesn't show up that often, but I feel like this could easily be of more benefit than Heightened. Whether it'll be worth whatever cost, worth giving up upgrades on other ships, remains to be seen.

I think it certainly looks like it could be pretty good on those 3-green die Aethersprites, particularly if a Juke-meta sticks around.
Say. Double-eyes will show up more often on Luke if he's getting Juke'd. Evade+Focus becomes Focus+Focus.

I think you hit on it. A Force Sensitive counter to Juke.
