What Were the Words!?

Apparently:

Regrettably, some of the words that were included in the pool created the potential for defective Archon Decks with an unfortunate pairing of words.

What are the words!?! My mind can't handle it! Was it Poop Dragon?! Scuzzy the Pirate & His Incredible Booty!? What!?

The list so far:

  • Racism
  • Fascism

We surely will find out when the companion launches!

Was wondering the same thing. That and wether FFG goons will come to my house, rough me up and take my deck.

Maybe some random racism could have happened? Like "Ebony" + "slave" or something like that. If I was CEO that would prolly be the only thing that would make me go "yeah that aint good."

"Offensive" names seems to be the thing to worry about these days. Hasbro changed one of the Dinobot's names from Slag to Slug. Sigh.

This will be the number one reason for using that companion: Looking up dirty deck names. :D

They probably won’t have them on the database?

Even if I can't use it in tournaments, I'd liek to have one. As long as it's just dirty and not offensive.

Stuff like Biggus Diccus, Naked Praetor , or Bangus, He with the large club , or Banana Lord, knight of the spear.

Inquiring minds want to know! Please give us a teaser of some of those decks. Were the random deck back images also inappropriate <giggle>?

Yeah you probably correct.

But can you imagine going to a tournament, and you get a "Dirty Deck"? Would they give you a replacement one?

If anyone wants a game with dirty and suggestive names: Pick up Heroes Wanted.

If you happen to get one of these naughty decks, which would you do? Keep it for the amusing glory, or turn it in for two replacement decks?

Or third, gamble on it gaining collectors value? It is a very interesting question. Doubly so when it is a deck you enjoy playing!

So funny to think of an "unplayable" deck being potentially worth so much!

Ah geez, I really want to start a list of wildly inappropriate Archon names, but without getting banned.

Keep it!

This is perfect, they can produce naughty deck names and it's not their fault so no one can complain! I love it when a plan comes together!

They can complain that they made it past Quality Control, or whatever equivalent staff there may be. Or that it wasn't QC'd at all in the first place. Don't worry, humans will always find something to complain about.

I'm perhaps unreasonably excited about seeing what the "defective" deck names are next week.

Oh I will most definitely keep it if I pull one!

I got one named "Mowcrawler, the Fishy Region Singer" not sure if that qualifies, but I'd say it's close. image.png.a44cd2418048ff98ff69336d03b4fb45.png

I have a feeling the banned deck names really won't be that bad unless you are dealing with a hypersensitive crybaby.

This does provide an interesting situation with these "naughty" decks because FF will exchange it for a "safe" one. You could exchange one of these decks if you don't like it. Maybe the replacement deck will have cards more to your liking. You can keep it for unofficial tournaments if you like the deck.

I'd keep at least one of these banned decks if it had a good name.

This brings up the question : Does every deck has a name in every language? And if so, is your deck banned if falls under their criteria in one language even though it is not the printed one?

Depends on what FFG thinks "fishy region" means.

Great, now I'm more interested in my deck's name than it's contents.

Fishy Region Singer, eh? If it's anything like, as George Carlin so eloquently put, "yodeling in the gully"....

I've got one for you that takes the cake
