Not just X-Wing, Destiny is also getting Clone Wars and eventually Legion is getting Clone Wars.

When Legion will get Clone Wars I may actually start playing it. Jedi Strike Team ♥️

I wonder how many points of battle droids will be the equivalent of one Jedi Knight...if it’s less than 10, lol.

I bet the Jedi will be commanders and and maybe VERY expensive specialist, with the focus being Clone Troops.

Most likely, yes. But it won't stop me from collecting all Jedi miniatures and using them in some narrative scenario.

You should still take a Jedi force out there, 3 guys vs 30 battle droids, totally cinematic and epic!

If FFG wants to keep producing new content for Armada, I think they have to start into the Clone Wars era, don't they? The sequel trilogy just doesn't have enough content they could use. What else is there to support 2-3 years of new content (to the game) at 1-2 releases per year other than CW?

The argument (not that I’m making it, just pointing it out) is that people say Legends and the GCW still for a bit.

You might have missed the last movie. It added a bunch of stuff, although at least on the 'First Order' side, basically everything at ludicrous-scale. Still, the Resistance got a half dozen new ships that are all more-or-less reasonably sized for the game.

Between the remaining OT-era ships (including 'Rebels' TV series), the Clone Wars, and Sequel Trilogy - even as it sits today (nevermind what gets introduced in the 'Resistance' or 'Mandalorian' TV series...both set in the 'sequel' era) - you could easily double the number of ships in the game, probably more, just sticking with what was 'seen on screen'.

So while I can't really imagine FFG dipping back into Legends for this game anytime soon, they don't necessarily have to even get into the Clone Wars, given their glacial pace of releases. (I mean, heck, between a squadron pack to update us to 'Rogue One', and the "missing ships" from 'Rogue One', 'Rebels', and 'Return of the Jedi' - you could still stretch out two more whole waves of stuff just seen on-screen from the OT era)

No one mentioned the Hardcell class transport or the DH-Omni yet 😞

I really don't think that variety would be a problem for the clone wars. The Lucrehulk alone has 3 visually distinct variants.
