Man, I need another Z-95 like I need a hole in my head, but that is a pretty paint job. If they can make it more survivable, harder hitting, and/or give us a couple more non-generic pilots, I'd be willing to give it a chance.

The only "new" thing in that Z-95 is the paint job (and the extra $5 on the price tag). I've got more Z-95's than I can use right now but man...I want some with that paint job.

Anyone else think that the Vulture Droid configuration may flip to add an agility?

Edit: thank you phone autocorrect, that's a "V".

Wait, Where is the force on the Sith Infiltrators?

The second from the right looks like it says "IG-45"

Oh good. Baked in double attacks every 2nd turn This pilot needs to be 90+ points otherwise power creep is really here.

Yeah... took me a second to realize ...

@KenYn Can I introduce you to the world of painting your models?

The newest thing about the 2.0 Scum Z-95 expansion is it is the first Scum release of the Z-95 that doesn't require a **** 3 ship expansion purchase or trading with other players to use...

To me this also implies that the Scum Y-Wing might be popping up in wave 4 or 5, Since that faction specific model was only available in the same 3 ship expac as the Scum Z-95...

If I've done this math correctly, Brilliant Evasion on 2 agility is useful only 6.25% of the time; on 3 agility, 15.6% of the time. Even on 4 dice the number was around 25%.

And, of course, it does nothing with 1 agility (despite coming boxed with the Sith Infiltrator - just FFG pumping supply so there's extras to reach the hands of rebel/imperial players?), so I've gotta assume it's super cheap. The only GCW era ship I can even kind of see putting it on is the Inquisitors. SR is just too competitive for the fragile but expensive 3 agility aces like Vader, but the Inquisitors don't want to spend 12 points on a 40 point chassis.

The Delta-7B config makes you into an X-Wing, and Calibrated Laser Targeting gives you (better than) a 3-dice primary if you have bullseye, so it'll be interesting to see if those are free. If not, the Delta-7 probably costs around 40 points, like the Inquisitor, and without the 7-B title is probably a good fit for Brilliant Evasion if it's like 2/3 points?

Compare it to, for instance, Kavil with VTG and Dorsal. Put the turret to the front. Now you have a similar ability. One of those attacks is one more dice, and you have Force.

Kavil is 50.

I'd guess at somewhere around 70, maybe up to 80 base for this, to account for the extra die, range 3 band on the double tap, and force.

Bear in mind Asajj is 84, and TERRIBLE.

If I'm reading the "discord missiles" upgrade correctly, looks like a spend a calculate or maybe a target lock to fire the buzz droids out the front using the 3 straight or bank trajectory-style. Wonder what the buzz droids do.

That's a great catch. We had another thread speculating this and the best answer was they'd form a debris cloud, so basically, Buzz Droids would be a debris cloud launcher. That's speculation, to be clear, but it fits rather well and uses existing rules/mechanics for ease of play.

LOL, took me a second to realize that.. must need more coffee...

With these stats, the pilot ability and the force, and compared to corran horn, I have the same feeling: 85-90 points!!!

I just realized they are being pretty blatant about not showing the full card fan of upgrades, with that stack of cards there.

Good, because I hope there is more new stuff.

Though, it looks like it will be bringing quite a bit more to the rules, with a new red token, new obstacle, new color type for action, and a new keyword, "solitary".

That'd be interesting for sure, but the token itself is rather small, doesn't look much larger than a regular bomb token. I'd imagine it would be hard to get it to trigger. Maybe it has an area of effect trigger, and assigns a condition that has a chance to deal damage, and needs to be actioned down. Or maybe it doesn't have an area of effect, because it triggers at the start of engagement, when all ships have moved already.

Solitary presumably just means what would have been 'unique' in 1e language.

Some of the Vulture droids have two of the limited dots, meaning you can field no more than two of them.

Solitary presumably refers to a ship that has only one limited dot, or maybe a 2 limited ship that you're only flying one of.

He can make double attacks two turns in a row if he doesn't spend Force tokens on anything else.

I was wondering about the 2 dots. If my eyes were playing tricks on me.

I see 3 dots on one of the vulture droids. The far left one.

I saw that to. Finally making use of that system beyond meaning "only one". In this case the limit is 3.

So rather than a completely unique ship, its a limited-run program :P

It also is nice that it looks like Vultures top out at Init 3. I wonder if that will be for all the Droid fighters.

Maybe Solitary means you can only have one of that type of upgrade in your squad.

I expect Tri-Fighters to go higher.

They downloaded the demo version that allows three computers but weren't willing to shill out for an enterprise license.
